Inside Caliper-

Divider Caliper-

Its two legs are pointed at the tips, making points between two points. They are among the most versatile tools in a mechanic’s arsenal. To use this scaling tool, place one pointed tip at the source another at the destination. It is great for measuring linear distances.

Dial Caliper-

It takes practice to read the Vernier calipers accurately by checking the primary and Vernier scale attributes. Dial calipers are a kind of Vernier tool with a dial for readings. It is easy to read like a standard Vernier because it shows the end results.

Digital Caliper-

The analog dial caliper comes with a digital option. It has the same jaws as a standard caliper, but it also has an electronic dial that shows your measurements. It is an effective method because it is easy to use even by beginners.

Other caliper classifications focus on the opening jaw and reading the gauges. The former includes the firm-joint and spring calipers.

To measure the distance between two points, you must manually move the legs. Using a screw near the calipers, you can stretch the legs when scaling.
